This was a labour of love. Trying to fit all the local buildings and details that I had chosen into a 75mm square and fit them into an alphabet was quite a challenge. Still, I managed to get it finished in time for the town's Festival last July and thankfully it has been well received.
I hand printed an edition of 50 and as a nod to the industrial and technical heritage of the town they are printed in either a woad blue or slate grey. I am also working them in a portrait or landscape format as someone pointed out that some ceilings are quite low in older buildings. Point taken.
If you fancy having your house featured as part of the alphabet then that is easily undertaken and if you are a business you can have your premises and your logo worked as part of the print. (The nice chaps at Lewis Gray estate agents did just this).
